Nanci Trivellato, MSc, a consciousness researcher and author, is a co-founder of I-ACT where she serves as managing partner and senior consultant. Born in Brazil, her early life took a traditional path as she earned an undergraduate degree in languages and literature. She also dedicated part of her studies and career to Business Administration, leading to engagements for several years with major multinational corporations, such as SINGER and IBM. Her research interest inspired her to leave Brazil in 1995. She received a Masters in Research Methods in Psychology in the UK.

Beginning with her out-of-body experiences as well as other non-ordinary phenomena as a youth—and in spite of her conventional upbringing and natural skepticism—she decided to dedicate her life to the research of multidimensional experiences. She felt awareness of multidimensional reality could enrich the lives of others, and she knew she could help lead the way. Nanci’s sensitivity, concern for others, and empathetic spirit were instrumental in her ability to work on individuals’ energy field and help them go through the challenging aspects of their lives. She has taught and supported the personal development of thousands of individuals.

Her natural administrative skills and entrepreneurial energy combined with her passion for her work, led her to be a pivotal element in the establishment and development of the International Academy of Consciousness (IAC), a non-profit institution of which she was a Director for many years and where she is currently a Senior Researcher and an instructor. Nanci has supported the work of several organizations as a volunteer and has managed a number of major projects involving large teams. She went on to establish the Journal of Consciousness (JofC) where she served as Chief Editor for 15 years. In 2010, Nanci was honored with the IAC Global Award for Contribution to Consciousness Science. She has lectured in 15 countries, and has been featured in a wide variety of media in 5 continents.

Among the topics Nanci researches are: psychic kids and their susceptibilities, chakras and the subtle body, interaction between the ordinary physical world and the “subtle realities”, energetic self-defense and the condition of intrusionlessness. She is the author of the book Vibrational State: Research, Techniques and Applications

EXTENDED BIO

Nanci Trivellato is a co-founder of I-ACT, where she serves as managing partner and senior consultant with a Masters of Science degree in Psychological Research Methods. She is also a senior researcher with the International Academy of Consciousness (IAC). Born in Brazil and descended from Italian and Portuguese immigrants, she has lived a large part of her life abroad. She worked for many years in business administration and held an executive position with IBM prior to engaging in the field of consciousness science. Nanci has experienced out-of-body experiences (OBEs) and other psi phenomena since the age of 7, stimulating her interest in the study of consciousness and multidimensional reality.

She has contributed to the establishment and expansion of a number of organizations in the field of consciousness studies and is a charter member of the International Academy of Consciousness (IAC). She held key administrative responsibilities with the IAC including in the Education and Public Relations Divisions. For 7 years she was the head of the IAC’s Research and Scientific Communication Department.

Her know-how in teaching non-ordinary (psi) phenomena and subtle dimensions is grounded on over 25 years of experience (ref. 2015). She places special value in helping individuals to understand the mechanisms that operates in such phenomena.  She also focuses on assisting them to distinguish mere brain processes or imagination from real paranormal or psi experiences, striving to empower them to truly develop their psychic awareness. She has designed and developed a number of unique courses and workshops, which have inspired others, not only inside IAC but also within other organizations.

Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Nanci has lectured around the world in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Finland, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and the USA. She also taught in Florida at the Miami-Dade Community College, where she instructed fellow students in a credit course about out-of-body experience research and practice.

Motivated by her personal commitment to contribute to the development of a science for consciousness and support authors in this area, Nanci established the Journal of Consciousness (JofC), a periodical publication dedicated to multidimensional consciousness science. She was JofC’s Editor-in-Chief for over 15 years. The JofC is distributed to subscribers in 35 countries.

Her work has been the subject of articles and interviews globally by magazines, newspapers, and periodicals, such as Natural Spirit Magazine (Japan); People (South Africa); Chicago Tribune (USA); The Miami Herald (USA); Toronto Star (Canada); The Sun (USA); Revista Planeta (Brazil); Para-astro (Belgium); Licht (Germany); Svjetlost (Croatia); Mina Olën (Finland); De Telegraaf (Netherlands); and numerous others. She has also featured in a number of media programs around the world, including Eye Witness News Atlanta (Fox 5 channel, USA); The Scene Show (NBC channel, USA); Deco Drive Show (Fox channel, USA); Afternoon News (Globo channel - Brazil); Seven News Television (CBS channel, USA); On the Edge of Science (Croatia); KOA Radio Denver (USA); Tolmo Show (Cyprus); Encontro Marcado (SIC channel, Portugal); CBC Radio Vancouver (Canada); and others. Nanci was the writer/producer of the DVD Out-of-Body Experience: A Glimpse of Immortality. Currently, she hosts the program Consciousness & Science.

She has designed and is conducting research projects under different methodological approaches. Among her research areas are experimental investigation on OBE and remote viewing, second-person research on subtle energy and vibrational state, and research surveys on several of the studied phenomena. Her expertise as instructor of “subtle” reality and paranormal phenomena and her research work led her to develop, together with Wagner Alegretti, strategies to sense energy field and chakras. This work involves diagnosing an individual’s energetic state and applying techniques to help them resolve undesirable conditions. Since 2003, she has been conducting one-on-one sessions teaching energy techniques, helping improve an individual’s energy condition, and supporting their self-awareness and dealing with personal situations in their lives.

In 2010, Nanci was honored with the IAC Global Award for Contributions to Consciousness Science for her work on identifying parameters of a technique that aims to vitalize and “cleanse” the human energy field (Measurable Attributes of the Vibrational State Technique). Currently, Nanci’s major research focus is on the occurrence of psychic or psi phenomena among children. She considers this study of major importance to provide parents with vital information to understand and help children who are undergoing such sensitivity. She also is conducting an on-going, long-term research project addressing chakras and the “anatomy” and “physiology” of the energy body. She is the author of the authoritative 500-page book Vibrational State: Research, Techniques and Applications - a practical guide for psychic and bioenergetic awakening for personal evolution
